How often do you look back on how God has helped you? We see examples of this throughout the Old Testament. The Ebenezer monument reminded Israel of God’s help to that point, and that He would continue to help as they trusted in Him. We all have Ebenezer moments but we seldom slow down to celebrate them. If we stop in our present to remember what God has done in our past, then we’ll see Him leading more clearly in the future.
